Dye Day #1 results (just for Karoda!)

Anyway, here they are! I started with a basic orange dye solution (3 teaspoons of undiluted mix into 3 tablespoons of water) for the far left piece, diluted it by half for the next over, then divided it in half and added yellow to one, and fuchia to the other!

The small bits at the back were undiluted dye solutions through several layers of fabric. You can see some of my RIT batik experiments behind the frame.

I am really happy with the results (these were muslin, right off the cheapy bolt, with a soda ash prewash!), and am hoping to do the big, expensive fabric pieces (still not PFD, but here now, and that is important!) today or tomorrow.
