I said I'd try and organize a little AQ group here in Burlington. Now it is the NW chapter of the VT Art Quilters, and I am organizing a Dye Day at my local park (right on Lake Champlain, for a mid-dye dip!) for maybe as many as a dozen people on July 9th. Oh boy.
I get to meet more of them tomorrow at VQF, and I still need to make my tiara. Yikes! Faces to names, and pictures galore! Hurray!!!

I would love to read how you are organizing this dye day. Is this an event that is open to the public or by enrollment?
Okay, I reread your post...you are oranizing this for the new chapter members. For a moment, I thought how cool it would be to organize for/demonstrate at the park for the general public.
